Help Our Community Food Bank

.

Living an African-centered life is rooted in the principle of self-determination. This means taking responsibility for addressing the challenges faced by our community and actively working towards solutions. One of the most fundamental human needs is access to food, along with clothing and shelter. At Black Food Bookstore & Culture Shop, we are committed to making a tangible difference in the fight against hunger.

To put our commitment into action, we are launching a food bank initiative. Starting Saturday, April 5th, we will begin accepting non-perishable food items at our bookstore. These donations will be collected and distributed to local churches and community organizations to support individuals and families in need.

We believe that collective effort can create lasting change, and we invite our customers and the general public to join us in this mission. Together, we can make sure no one in our community faces hunger.
